"Semester Final Exam"

SEMESTER FINAL EXAM

Favorite Blog Post The following post shown here was my favorite post, because it was when I took my trip to Mexico, the views were breath taking, and I felt very inspired while taking the photographs. I really liked this post because it shows many details in every picture that I didnt know till after taking the photographs. Take a look.

From all the pictures I took in the whole semester, this was my favorite because of so many details included in it.
1.The view/place so peaceful and relaxing
2. The birds were in motion flying with no worries
3. It expresses me because I like to take photographs of the sky

Best photos from the semester These were me best photos because I managed to take them with alot of interest, I love all the things I took a photograph of, and I had in mind the use of lines while having nature surrounding it.

Three advantages while working with a group are you can get work done faster, its less work for a person alone, you can have some one to talk and entertain yourself. Three disadvantages are you have to wait on others to get their work done, they have different opinions, and you have to know how everyones attitude is.

Henri Cartier- Bresson knew when his photos were good by being sure to align the head, take a picture when the shutter would open, and you have to observe and see how things are going like a painter before taking the picture.
BEFORE

AFTER

The project that interests me during the second semester is to take photographs while in motion, and taking photographs with different colors as well.

I think Mr. Farley has a Hecka Free Zone because he wants everyone to manage to finish their work and be interested in doing it, and at the same time make it fun.

Visual Friday - 2013 Covers

The cover that I liked the best was the Bloomberg Businessweek, with the picture of Barack Obama on the front of it because the Director Richard has a big point and I totally agree with what his point was, making a mistake on his second term as a president. He needs a robot? Meaning he needs help, while controlling all the states.

First Semester Final:

Black & White Portraits

In this first picture Johanes tried not to look at the camera, using a serious pose while the light of the sun was hitting him.

While taking this picture of Brenda, I took about 3 at a time making her laugh, smile, & wierd reactions sometimes the best pictures are the unexpected.

Bryan was posing for a serious yet happy pose, the light of the sun reflecting him as well, and the background representing lines.

Brenda once again, i think the sun was hitting her a little too much, but it looks nice and especially in black and white.

Andrea wasnt makng eye contact either with the camer, yet theirs something in her face that makes her want to smile.

Masters Photo

Paul Strand
Paul Strand was an American Photographer and filmmaker who, made a photography and art type of form in the 20th century. He was born in New York City, his parents were Bohemian. Later in life around 1922, Strand married Rebecca Salsbury who was a painter. They stayed together for a while then, they divorced and he got married after with Virginia Stevens in 1935. He literally, divorced again and then remarried for the third time to Hazel Kingsbury around 1951. He remained married to her till he passed away.

Something interesting that inspired my group and myself to this photographer was that his photographs were all mostly black and white like te photographers from that time. Another detail thats interesrting is that Paul lived in Mexico in 1932-1935, he was involved in many films and ws commissioned by the mexican government.
