Artistic Review - Photographer's Website

Have you ever been asked to revise something in order for the person to make it better or look better? Well I have, its very interesting to analyze peoples stuff and describe exactly what you see. Well Mr. Farley is an educator, father, husband, &photographer at Pittsburg HIgh School he has his own website of his own photographs, how cool is that. Thats how great his pictures are from taking pictures of his own to giving students his pictures to edit and analyze.

Something that really caught my attention was that fact of how organized everything is from different events of photographs. He photographs visible items for example his kids, the outside world, concerts certain events, normal things that you can have many points of view for it. You can even explore the website with your own eyes if you just go to galleries and look for the name of this photograph you will be surprised golden-gate-rose-0354. Te picture listed is a landscape photograph focusing in one main rose, i predict that it had just finished raining so thats why their was water on it, or someone had just watered them. The edit is so beautiful from the contrast, brightness, and focus surrounding it known as rule of thirds.

Honestly, In my point of view after being in photo one class and now advance photo I really have a different point of view in pictures now and throughout nature and practically everything. I now take photographs of anything that catches my attention I take a photograph of it even though with a digital camera everything comes out way better than with a camera of an Iphone. But thats something I really look up to is be able to edit and take pictures like the ones Mr. Farley has on his own website/blog.

Cropping for better Composition 2

After
When our group was chosen to take photographs outside we picked leading lines as our composition. I took this photograph and just something in particular makes it pop out, its giving us a visual image of texture, pattern. Maybe even rule of thirds if you think about it the Gas sign pops out and i added a bit of contrast and texture, so colors can stand out more, and crop it to look better.

Cropping for better Composition

BEFORE

AFTER

Our composition that are group agreed on was Leading Lines. On the first picture I cropped the picture so the bubbles would be noticed a bit more, cropped the unnecessary people on the other side. The girls pants is striped representing lines and also the back of the picture.

So on the second picture I cropped the ferris wheel and all the little stands of people. The lines are shown on the street where the palm trees are located. And the top of the cart of the ferris wheel represents leading lines as well. As well I changed the color a bit, it looks like a beach and a nice landscape around the photograph.

Camera Review Cannon T3i

The Canon Camera T3i is a great choice to shoot action outdoors. The resolution is
megapixel, with a crop sensor. Also includes a 3x optical zoom, to get a great focus in the item, or person you want to take a photograph. Not forgetting the excellent flash it has, which is a detachable flash and pop- up flash. The Canon Camera T3i is a great choice to shoot action outdoors. The resolution is

Family(group) Picture

After

Something that I noticed about the history of photography was that back then people would get with their families and take photographs. The photographs we really serious standing up straight and not blinking. Our group did a similar family picture, but we just used a bit of smile to not look so serious looking.

This picture is of myself, the original is on the Left and the one I edited with aperture is on the right. I cropped a bit of the picture, flipped the angle so i'm on the left side and changed the color to black and white.

Yosemite & photographers

Pop Laval made money by taking photographs of his own, then marketing them as his own business and selling them. And the answer is no, Yosemite didn't pay him he did it on his own.

The Person who makes the most interesting photographs of Yosemite now are many photographers, but who caught my attention was Mark Boster. It doesn't exactly say if they got paid or not, but in my point of view I will say they don't get paid for taking pictures but if the pictures come out amazing then they will sell them. If I was photographing Yosemite I would want to take pictures of the waterfalls, the largely huge Sequoia trees, pretty much enjoy nature at the most.
